Training the next generation

An extensive and diverse suite of short courses and workshops related to responsible resource extraction are offered through the TERRE CREATE program at institutions across Canada. Utilizing an integrated approach, these training activities are delivered to students by world-class researchers through lectures augmented with group work and hands-on laboratory, field, and modelling exercises. Stipend funding is available to qualified undergraduate and graduate students, and post-doctoral fellows, to offset the costs associated with short course/workshop attendance

About courses & workshops

Sharing knowledge across Canada

Research exchanges funded through the TERRE CREATE program will provide graduate students and post-doctoral fellows with opportunities to work with leading researchers at seven Canadian universities. Participating trainees are provided with opportunities to enhance the analytical and modelling capabilities of their ongoing research projects, and to gain critical experience in the operation of an extensive array of field, analytical, and modelling techniques. In addition, research exchanges serve as an integral opportunity for students to broaden their professional networks.
